Unexpected challenges in paradise

The hotel had spacious rooms with stunning views, and the staff was generally friendly and eager to assist. Our mornings were enhanced by the excellent breakfast service despite the chaotic circumstances.

The Deluxe Room features a spacious layout with a balcony that offers a pleasant view of the surrounding mountains, perfect for enjoying the sunrise. Additionally, the hotel's gardens are well-kept, making morning jogs around the property quite enjoyable.

The hotel suffers from a notable lack of maintenance, as many facilities feel outdated and show signs of wear. The infamous trek up the mountain to reach the main building can become quite tedious, especially without elevators available, which exacerbates the journey for anyone with mobility issues. Getting reliable WiFi is a challenge too. the connection only works in limited areas like the lobby or pool, forcing you to adhere to certain locations if you need to get some work done or stay connected. The food options leave much to be desired, with a very limited menu that skews heavily towards local cuisine, lacking adequate Western selections that would cater better to a diverse range of tastes.
